Health Fairs
Wellness Center provides Health Fairs for area communities, businesses and congregations in a nine-county area. The Health Fairs include lab work, screenings and a detailed health risk appraisal.
Health Fair results are incorporated into the Health Risk Appraisal, and a comprehensive, individualized report is produced for each participant. All reports are reviewed by the Wellness Nurse and participants with high-risk results are contacted by phone or mail.
The health fair screenings include: total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, complete blood count, hemoglobin, blood sugar, blood pressure, pulse, weight, grip strength and a step fit test. This "Basic Package" is $27 per person.
Optional screenings/services include: tetanus booster - $37; Tdap - $47; TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) - $27; and PSA (Prostate cancer screening for men) - $27.

Health Screenings
A number of low cost and free health screenings are provided at Wellness Center. Screenings offered include: blood pressure, blood sugar, lipid profile, hemoglobin and hemoglobin A1c.
