Valentine Gala Scott & White Foundation– Brenham hosts a February Valentine Gala that kicks off the local fundraising season with high style, delicious food and merriment for all that attend. Mark your calendars and save the date for this year's event on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at 6 pm. This annual event is in its seventeenth year with various themes for each event, 2008 “And The Winner Is……A Hollywood Black Tie Affair”, 2009 Noite de Carnaval Brasileiro and in 2010 An Evening of Intrigue on the Orient Express. "Abracadabra...A Magical Evening" was the theme for the 2011 event celebrating the magic of donors, their commitment and gifts that change people's lives.
Foundation “fun”draisers are always fresh and new and our donors love it. All revenues benefit Scott & White Hospital - Brenham as we celebrate and appreciate our benefactors, their friendship, continuing partnership and the generous support of our local community.
Revenues come from different vehicles of gifting, Event Underwriters, Event Guests and donations from those unable to attend the event ensure that our efforts are successful. Each year there are ten Live Auction items and a Silent Art Auction that enable us to produce a profitable fundraising event.
Local caterers and restaurants provide delicious temptations with a wide array of foods for the seated and served dinner. Volunteers from the hospital help with staffing, serving and valet.
The real winners from these events are Quality Local HealthCare and the people of Washington and surrounding counties.
