Scott & White Hospital - Brenham incorporates Christian values in all aspects of the workplace-from patient care to employee relations. Through these values, Scott & White Hospital - Brenham's staff continues a healthcare ministry that began in Brenham in 1931.

All persons, employees, visitors and patients alike are treated with respect and dignity, within the framework of the values and the missions and philosophies of the hospital and care center.

To ensure employee satisfaction, the staff is surveyed annually to determine their needs and issues, and the leadership team strives to address all concerns in a timely manner.

Educational opportunities are provided for both employees and managers as needs are determined.

The Employee Awards Committee coordinates a recognition program that includes spotlighting "Service Stars of the Month" and an "Employee of the Year" who exemplify the values of the organization. The Employee Activities Committees helps nurture the family atmosphere by organizing a number of events and activities including the Annual Awards Dinner and Dance, Derby Day, an Easter Egg Hunt, a Pancake Breakfast, a Santa Claus visit for employees' children and grandchildren and annual food and school supply drives for the community.

Scott & White Hospital - Brenham places a special emphasis on providing excellent customer service, including devoting a training on the topic for new employees and quarterly for all employees. The level of customer service provided is constantly monitored through patient surveys and patient follow up phone calls.
